Holy Update

Pretty sure I didn't realize it has been well over a year since I posted anything. I admit I got sucked into facebook and well still am. But I'm totally commited to updating this blog and keeping up with all our fun changes. So lets see.... Caselyn turned 6 YEARS old this summer, which am in still in shock over, she started first grade and her GRANDMA is her teacher, lucky little girl! She is at a fun age, she is like 6 going on 17. She can be pretty bratty and bossy and emotional, guess she is just preparing me for those oh so fun teenage years. McKoy is almost 4 and is in preschool with Miss Kelci (She had a baby a week ago and hasn't been to class and Koy really misses her, he said today "I hope Miss Kelci isn't still sick this time") He is a hilarious little kid, and so hyperactive. Its so fun to sit and watch him, especially when he doesnt know you are watching, He is just like is dorky dad. Also we have our third little grover on his or her way(Caselyn and I want a girl and Casey and McKoy want a boy, of course) I am due April 25th, 2012(Brocks future wife's birthday). Also my sis in law is due the day before me. I'm so excited to have two babies that close. It would be really fun to have them be the same sex and be really close friends growing up. Plus its just really nice to have someone to share my misery with :) I have been pretty sick this time around, but I think I'm getting better. We are living with the in-laws still but looking for our own place, just want to make sure its the right one. We want to stay in salem, but might have to settle in payson. I still want to be close to Casey's parents and be able to keep Caselyn in Mt. Loafer. So we will see how it goes. Pretty much just have to hold on tight cause this is one wild ride right now....

Hawaii- Paradise 2010

Going to hawaii with the Grover side was one of the best vacations i think we will ever have the chance to go on. We did all the busy stuff first... like Pearl harbor, and The Polynesian cultural center, and walking around Honolulu and Waikiki.... so when we ended up on the most beautiful island all we had to do was relax.... wake up and decide which beach we wanted to go to today or taking the kids to the pool. No worries about going to work, or making sure the bills were paid, or going grocery shopping(which we went to costco when we first landed on Kauai and all chipped in for groceries which saved a ton of money and we got to spend more time at home eating and not debating on where to go for dinner) Just plain old relaxation. Not to mention the scenery was breathtaking, every twist and turn on the highway was covered with beauty. We went snorkeling, I think I deserve a medal for that, I don't even dare to put my head under water at the swimming pool and I floated around breathing through a tube for hours. We spent one day at tunnels beach(named for the tunnels of corral) and we saw the most beautiful fish, such vibrant colors. UMMM and the huge SEA TURTLE we saw there was unbelievable, it just minded its own business while Casey and I sat and watched it eat from about two feet away. I didn't like the salt water though, it made my skin and hair feel very gross, and the sand that managed to get in every part of my body. I very much enjoyed the day my kids threw a big fit to go to the pool rather than the beach and I went home still feeling like a I had human skin. I will never forget all the memories, and lets not forget the reason we all took this vacation.... To spend time together as a family before Brett(casey's youngest brother) left on his mission. We are so proud of him for this decision and know he will be greatly blessed, he is such an insperation of what a young man should be and i hope my sons can grow and learn from him.

Yes, even though I hav not blogged for an extremely long time I still wanted to change my background :) Anyway hopefully I get a new camera for christmas since my kid, I'm not pointing fingers but it was McKoy, little stinker. And then I can start blogging again. We are at such a fun stage right now, McKoy just turned two and Caselyn is loving preschool and growing up way too fast.

I am officially an aunt! On father's day Megan and Jesse had their baby. He was 6 14 and 21 inches. He is adorable and looks a lot like Jesse. I think Grover's have the dominant gene. Hi name is Kien Edward Grover. Kien is Jesse's Vietnamese name from his mission, It means faith and patience(I love names that have special meaning) and Edward is Megan's dad(not from twilight) Congrats guys and Happy Fathers day!

On June 13th, 2009 my baby actually turned four, that means only one more year til kindergarten! We went to chuck e cheese for her party but my camera was lost at the time. Pam got a lot of pictures I just don't have them to post, so these are just some random recent pictures. Instead of getting her more toys(which she doesn't need and we don't have room for) We got her a Kitty(after months of begging casey he finally gave in) . Caselyn named her Cali, like california. She is so funny with the cat, she will sit and hold her and say I love my kitty she is the sweetest kitty I ever saw.

I might cry a little as I tell her birth story, so it's a good thing no one is watching me do this. My pregnancy was not easy, first off I was so so so sick, I literally threw up every single day for the first 13 weeks, I lost a lot of weight, Which was good, but i would have rather gained weight and not had to live threw the vomiting. I am not a patient person so when I was 16 weeks we went to the mall ultrasound center to find out if we needed blue or pink...... and the results was she was a she! I was so excited, even Casey wanted a girl. We immediately went to baby gap and bought a few darling little dresses. this kid had more clothes before she was born I didn't even know what to do with them all. Most of it was my mother, she would buy her a few outfits each week. There were things she never worse because she grew out of them too fast. When I was only 27 weeks I had my first contraction, and they just kept coming I would have them about 7 minutes apart for a week at a time, once they started to get a little stronger we called Dr. Reese and he had me rush over for him to check me, I wasn't dilated but I was "softening" He put me on bed rest, which was very hard for me. I would lay on the couch for days and would start to feel fine and get antsy so I would not be so bed-resty, and then the contractions would start again. I got pretty addicted to soap operas during this time. At my 32 week appointment I was dilated to a 2 and 50% effaced, I had to take a pill every four hours, even set my alarm through the night to wake up so I would miss a dosage. By 36 weeks I was to a 3 and 80% effaced. but that was a relief to make it that far and I could stop taking the pill. They gave me a steroid shot to push her lungs along too. My cousin Abbie was a great support while I was going through this because although her babies came a lot earlier than Caselyn she still knew what I was going through. We had several trips to the hospital when my contractions got too strong or too close and most of the time Abbie came to visit and help keep me calm. When I was 37 weeks I went for a regular check up on a friday and my blood pressure was very high I don't remember exactly but it was around 170/90. So back on the bed rest for the weekend, Dr. Reese told me if it didn't go down by monday then they would have to induce me. I had a terrible headache all weekend and the next monday my blood pressure had actually gone up so he sent me across the street to Mt. View hospital where I was checked in and induced. I was a little relieved to know that I didn't have to be pregnant anymore but nervous to have an early baby. I was already a four when they broke my water and then started my epidural and for some reason I slowed down. 13 1/2 hours (2 1/2 of those were straight pushing) Caselyn Jean Grover entered this world at 11:03 pm, 6 pounds 3 ounces and 19 inches long. She was perfect and looked like her daddy. It's amazing that you can love something so much. She was born on Uncle Brocks birthday which I loved, Brock and I have always been pretty close so it was fun to have something like that to share. I have a great family who was there to share that special moment with Casey and me. I love you all so much!

To conclude here are 4 things I love about my princess.

1- She tells me she loves me at least 10 times a day for no reason

2- She such a girl, she loves pink and princesses and all things girly

3- She loves her brother, and they actually get along pretty good

4- She loves to help cook and clean and do laundry(I'll take advantage while it lasts)

I love you Caselyn and I will always be there for you, no matter what you need!

To celebrate turning the big 2-3, My dad took us to Asukas, it's like tepanyaki but much better, our little cook was very entertaining. Brock and Lindsay joined the fun, I love hanging out with them. Lindsay cracks me up so i was glad to have them come with us. My dad and Pamela were there also I don't know why I don't have a picture of them, but for the record they were there. Memorial Day

So on the way home from Fish Lake, We wanted to make it to Casey's uncles property for their BBQ in Fairview, so we took a detour up Nephi canyon and headed to fairview, We got there right as it stopped raining and got to see the new baby MaKaylee Dudley(casey's cousins baby) And take the kids for a quick fourwheeler ride, which they both loved. Then drove home, took a much needed shower, and then an even more needed NAP!

Fish Lake

The Evans Family has a new tradition to go to fish lake every summer. I loved that place even though it rained a lot, and was muddy. We still got to take the boat out and Fish, which is why we went. We didn't catch a ton but enough to keep us wanting more. I caught the most out of us all and one of mine was the biggest. I used my new black and pink pole, The Pink Lady. Even when someone else was using it that pole would bring in a fish. We had tons of fun and it was nice to have all my brothers and sisters together. Can't wait to go next year..... although this time we will go in July when the weather is better.

Preschool Graduation

I think I have been subconsciously putting off posting all the recent events, because it will make it all real and I just don't know if I can handle it :) Caselyn graduated from preschool in may and I cannot believe it. She went to Active Leraning preschool in Spanish and I love them, Miss Karen and Miss Amy have brought Caselyn out of her shell, (which is a huge achievement) They did a cute little program and of course she was stage fright in front of all the parents. At the very end she got brave and danced a little tiny bit but still didn't sing. My little baby girl is all grown up. I have never believed how fast she would grow up until this day. And soon she will be a teenager and I'll probably pull my hair out. I sure hope her daddy and I can raise her right. I love you Jean-bug!

This is from a couple weeks ago, I just got the pictures, But they are cutes ones so I am posting them late. There isn't much of a story either....... The one with my kids is at Brocks house they are playing on his huge 350 class bull. Casey and I had someone euro mount it for him and I think it looks pretty good. Plus it is a great playground for the kids. The other is just from a visit when Grandma and Grandpa stopped in town on their way from mesquite to idaho. We ate at red robin, YUM!

We went to St. george for the Sunshine Baseball tournament and once again the SF dons DOMINATED!! I absolutely love watching baseball and hanging out with the whole town of spanish fork on the bleachers. We also stayed an extra day and went to mesquite to see my grandparents so here are a few pics of that. They have a mini putting green in their backyard nad my kids (and husband) loved it. I miss my Grandma Dayce so much and I really really wish she was closer :) It was beautiful weather and then we came home to this..... I hate it! Can't wait til sunshine comes to us.

I came home from bunco the other night and found the sweetes things in my bed. And can I just tell you

it made me cry a little bit. Koy has been sick(again) and has been so cuddly. Caselyn has been kissing him and rubbing his head and will say "Are you ok koy-koy" or "Oh. how come you don't feel good big guy" She tries so hard to keep him comforted. I absolutley love being a mom, and I live for these moments!

So this is kind of a random post but Caselyn said the funniest thing and I know you all will love to hear this. Ashley, My sister in law was babysitting Caselyn and McKoy while Casey and I went to a movie. They were watching Nate(casey's cousin) play basketball, when it was time to leave Ashley noticed that McKoy was stinky so she told Caselyn that she hadto change her brothers diaper when they got home. Caselyn said "I don't want to do it, you have to." And Ashley said "I don't want to change him either, he stinks." so Caselyn responded in her darling high pitched voice "Maybe we can just squish it back in." Where did she even come up with that?

Home Sweet Home

FINALLY MY KITCHEN IS DONE!!! With the exception of the base boards being re-painted(just waiting on casey for that), and we don't have the handles yet but i have new linoleum, new cabinets, a new sink and garbage disposal, new lights, my carpet is back in, a new paint job in the laundry room, I have a brand new dishwasher, Casey's dad bought us that as a "glad you have your house back" present. A huge pantry and more cupboard space than I know what to do with. Here are some before, during and after pics. Thanks to Farmers Insurance, Rod Cloward for the cabinets, Brad Grover and his electrician and plumber friends! It pays to know people!

Every year one of my father in law's clients gives him 4 VIP passes to a jazz game. The VIP tickets include an all you can eat buffet, there was roast beef, stuffed manicotti, creamy chicken and rice soup, and a salad bar. We also got front row seats, free all you can eat nachos and popcorn at half time, and free drinks. I have been a couple of other times but this time was by far the best! It was such an intense game, my throat was sore from screaming so much. The Spurs won by only 6 points, 100-106. We went with Jesse and Megan(casey's brother and his wife). Going to these games make other sporting events not near as much fun, ya know without the VIP treatment. We were sitting on the Spurs side and got to watch them warm up, and WOW i actually remembered my camera. I know, I know. I can hardly believe it myself! So here are the pics of Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobli. It's really hard to take pics while they are playing so I only got a few of the Jazz, and 1 good of Okur. Can't wait til next year!!!!

Four Years!

It was our 4th anniversary on December 11th. We celebrated by going to Salt Lake, we stayed at the Radisson Hotel and had dinner at the gateway, did a little shopping. And then slept like babies with no kids waking us up at four in the morning. Actually I still woke up at four, I guess my body didn't realize there was no kid crying. But this time I got to just roll over and go back to sleep. The room had one of those sleep number beds and I want one for christmas. It was so soft and comfortable. Once again I brought my camera but the batteries were dead, So here are some of my favorite pictures of him.

And... Here are some things I love about My wonderful Husband:

1- He always keeps me laughing
2- He has a lot of patience(he keeps me under control, like when Caselyn draws on my bedroom door, and the walls in my bedroom, and the light switch, and in the hallway, and the car door, and her pants)

3- He is a hard worker, always working extra hours, and doing side jobs for people.

4- He always kisses me and tells me he loves me before he leaves for work and before we go to bed.

5- He is such an amazing dad

6- He is working hard to put my kitchen back together

7- He takes me hunting with him

8- He cleans the bathroom

9- He usually lets me be the boss(or at least lets me think I am)

10- He takes me to eat at Panda Express to cheer me up

11- He plays with the kids

12- He doesn't make me mow the lawn

13- He always shovels the driveway for me

14-and starts my car when its cold in the morning

15- and most of all i love that he loves me

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! We went to big ol burley idaho to spend thanksgiving with my mom and grandparents. It's different being up there because my mom is only child so we are the only cousins. The first couple nights we stayed at Grandma Dayce's which is always so much fun and amazingly good food for every meal. On black friday we went to wal mart at about 3 in the afternoon and there were like 20 people there, nothing like everywhere else where people were getting trampled and shot at. Then we went to an even bigger town called gooding, its about 30 or 40 miles from twin falls. It was a nice break until we all started getting sick. McKoy was the first one to start throwing up, then the next day Grandpa leonard and my mom got sick, then the next day, Grandma Dayce, me and casey caught it, We had to have Kole drive home cause neither of us could stop puking long enough drive. Thanks to Brock and Lindsay for letting Caselyn ride with them so that we had one less person to take care of. Then when we got home sunday night caselyn was throwing up. And now it has gone through casey's entire family. Kole had it monday and Andie got it too... It's like some magic contagious super bug. AND IT IS AWFUL! But we are all back to normal, we should start placing bets on who is going to get it next. But that's not the worst thing that happened. On sunday night we pulled into our driveway at about ten o'clock exhausted from the drive home and just wanting to crawl into bed.... we opened the door..... and our water heater was gushing water..... EVERYWHERE!!!!! Our living room carpet was soaked and our wood floor ruined! Casey had to take monday off work to pull up the carpet and the pad and try to stop mold from growing. Well we called our insurance and they sent some people out who proceeded to tear up our wood floors and drill holes into the dry wall, cut holes in the living room floor, and place ten very loud industrial fans throughout our house. We have now had the fans for 2 nights and will have them through the weekend, and they have to be running at all times. We did end up getting some money from the insurance to have the floors replaced but I don't know if this will all be taken care of before christmas, which sucks! We may not even be able to put a christmas tree this year. So if any of you know someone who can lay wood floors let me know. At first I was fuming mad and complaining why us, why right before christmas? But it really has turned out to be a blessing, we will probably actually have a little extra money to buy christmas presents or a new dishwasher or new countertops. So... I'm thankful that my water heater leaked. I'm also thankful for my Father in law- Brad the Barber cause he has been down at my house helping with the clean up, and had a guy fix the water heater and is going to have someone re-install the carpet after he has it cleaned. I'm also thankful for my Dad for waiting at my house while they service master guys tore it apart, and for DeAnn feeding us since we don't have a kitchen and for Chiara and everyone I work with for listening to me complain. And for everyone else in my family who has helped or listened! LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!

We had a birthday party with my Evans side, I'm glad that everyone could be there to help celebrate. I had big plans to make a cute camoflauge cake but I could not find the right frosting anywhere! So i gave up and just went to buy him one from walmart but there was literally not a single boy cake so I settled for what I believe is the worlds ugliest birthday cake ever!! Oh well, Koy devoured it and didn't know the difference. Koy didn't have any interest in his candles so his oh-sohelpful sister stepped up and helped him out. The next night when we had the Grover family party and My sis-in-law Megan had made him a CAMO cake, but guess whose camera was dead.... yep.... mine. So no pics of that party, but the cake was darling! Thanks Meg. We also took the kids to jumpin jacks(still a dead camera) and I think I had just as much playing on the slides as they did. I am a wimp so little kiddies blow up sides are the perfect amusement park attraction. So sad the first year is done but boy is being a mom fun!

After we got home from the patch we carved the pumpkins, I carved the Cinderella, Casey 'helped' Caselyn carve Tinkerbell, and my sister in law Ashley carved Jack skellington and oogey boogey from nightmare before christmas. She is very talented. It took about a half hour for Caselyn to let us carve hers, she did not want us to cut it and break it, and then it took about 20 more minutes to get her to stick her hand and get the seeds out, she didn't like that very much. She is super OCD about having clean hands and feet. I keep some of that foam antibacterial stuff in my purse and she will always ask me if she can have some to kill the 'inbisadle' germs. And that concludes our halloween adventures. Can't wait for next year!

Pumpkin Patch

The kids and I went to the pumpkin patch at the Big Red Barn in santaquin with my mother and sister in law(I did remember my camera this time) After we had each picked out our pumpkins Koy wanted to hold one on his lap and try to eat it on the ride back. We also had some delicious pumpkin pie ice cream with real pieces of pie crust(simply amazing) Casey didn't come because it was the last night of the rifle hunt, his younger brother Cory went with him and ended up shooting a huge 8 inch wide 2 point, it might be the smallest buck I've ever seen but it was the only buck he had seen on all three hunts so he took it. So congrats to Cory and I can't wait to eat a big delicious deer roast for sunday dinner.

I kind of suck at blogging lately, so I'm finally putting our halloween pictures up. I also suck at remembering my camera, so these are pics of when we got home from trick-or-treating after the kids were tired and ready to be out of their costumes, and after koy ate a sucker so his is a little dirty, thats ok though, I don't think ogres are known for their cleanliness. I did remember to take my camera up for our tradition of trunk or treating at my Grandma Linda's church. So here are some of my cousins..... Boston is the chicken, Britlee is Alice, brennae is the rabbit, Bryson and Briggs are tweedle dee and tweedle dum.

Pancakes with LALA

Caselyn has taken on this new obsession with cooking. If she wants something "of" eat(thats how she tells me she is hungry) and I try to make her a "fanich"(thats how she says sandwich) she will proceed to tell me she wants something cooked. She wants to push the buttons on the microwave, she wants to stir whatever may be on the stove, she wants to cut the chicken to put in the frying pan..... I just don't get it. Cooking is not that much fun. Sometimes I need LALA(that is what she calls Linda, she can actually say Linda, but couldn't when she was younger and it has just stuck) to tend my kids while I slave away at work. Linda is my mom's best friend, partner in crime, my other mother, and occasional lifesaver when i need a babysitter. Well while Caselyn was over there she wanted to cook something so Linda got out some pancake mix and helped her make mickey mouse pancakes, complete with sprinkles? Linda tried to get her to put chocolate chips on them, but what can i say I have a very odd daughter and she insisted on sprinkles. I think Linda was a little more patient with her because now when I'm making dinner and she is "helping" she tells me "Lala let me stir" or Lala let me pour it" and "I want to go cook at Lala's house" Thanks LALA!!!

1. The only kind of lotion I can use is Johnson's baby lotion, i hate vicoria's secret and bath and body works, and any other kind of lotion. Because they are too greasy and make my hands sticky, so I feel like everytime I touch anything the germs stick to my hands.

3. When I make a sandwich the cheese can't touch the mustard or mayo, I don't know why it just can't, so I have to layer the cheese between the meat.

4. When I vacuum, I have to have the lines made by the vacuum perfectly straight, I hate to vacuum.

5. I floss everytimes I eat anything! I have floss hidden randomly through out my house and car so that I always have some near when I need it.

6. I go through cell phones like crazy! I always end up breaking them or they just stop working, it's expensive to have bad luck with cell phones.

7. I HATE HATE HATE when my foods touch!! I use 2 or more plates every time I eat at like a family party or something because I can't eat whatever touches!

A couple weeks ago we watched Raschel's little boy Trayden for a little while. Those boys were so cute together! They are going to give Raschel and I some trouble I bet when they get older. Koy is four months younger but is still the same size as Tray. I have a giant baby. Anyway I got some really cute pictures of them together. It was so fun to watch Koy interact with someone his age. Since I bragged a lot about caselyn in my last post I'll do some braggin on my boy too. I am just constantly amazed at how happy my little guy is. He will play with anyone, is not shy at all. He has that smile that melts my heart(funny teeth and all). I'm not quite ready for him to be a year old, is there some magical way to keep them babies for just a little while? If anyone out there knows the secret, please please tell me! Mckoy puts so much joy in my life, I can not imagine it with out him. His smile absolutely melts my heart. It is crazy how much love you can have for such a little person. He is starting to give hugs and kisses and I think my heart is going to explode when he lays his head on my should and wraps his little chubby arms around me. I love you so much koy-koy!

Caselyn has started pre-school and absolutely loves it. When I picked her up from school yesterday she told me she has a boyfriend! Named Davin, and he has brown hair. And he shares toys with her. I'm not quite ready to hear those words, I mean she is only THREE! but it was so stinkin cute when she was talking about it. So I took some pics of her while we were doing her homework, I guess you gotta get em in the habit early! The assigment was to cut out 10 pictures that are green out of a magazine. She learned how to hold the scissors and everything. she asks everyday to do some more homework, even when she doesn't have any work due. I am so lucky to have that little girl in my life. Even though she was quite unexpected, I have never had any regrets of how things turned out. She makes me so happy and it's so fun to watch her grow up(even when she is being kind of naughty, but what kid isn't naughty sometimes?)I'm just trying to cherish every second because it is goign by wwwaaaaayyyyy too fast. I'm also so grateful that she is so flippin smart. I just can not believe the things she remembers, I have never heard a three year old talk as well she does. This little girls is going to go far in life. She already told me she wants to be a doctor when she grows up(after an episode of Dora, where Dora is a doctor) Well she can be whatever she wants and I will support her 100 percent, but how awesome would that be to say "Yes, MY daughter is a doctor, and she is amazing" She is well on her way to med school with all this agonizing homework. I love you jean bug!

So my computer will not let me download the pictures from my camera onto my computer so I have not had much to blog about but..... Caselyn said the funniest thing the other day and Steph said I have to put it on my blog. So Caselyn was getting ready for bathtime and I noticed her panties had a little skid mark in them. I asked her why she went poo in her panties and she exclaimed "I didn't mom, I just sharted" I was laughing so hard I could not breathe. That is casey's favorite word and apparently she has heard it once or twice. I am really starting to realize that her little ears pick up on everything we say and we really need to watch our words around her. oh and heres a dirty word lesson if you don't know what a shart is.... It's when you fart and a little shit comes out! I know it's kind of wierd, we learned it from a movie. Along came Polly with Ben Stiller and Jennifer Aniston, super hilarious you should watch it sometime.

Visiting Grandma's

A couple of weeks ago we got to go see my mom in Gooding Idaho. The place is super redneck but i love it. It's such a cute little town, they only have 2900 people but they have like 2 grocery stores and 3 bars. Salem has 6000 and we are just barely getting our grocery store. Caselyn loved to feed the calves in the mornings and it was so neat to sit on the back porch at night and see the sky and all the stars with out the city lights. And Gene(my moms boyfriend) is very nice and he is so good with my kids caselyn even seems to like him. And we got to see my Grandpa Leonard and Grandma Dayce which is always awesome!! It was alot of fun but I still wish my mom lived closer.

Just wanted to let my friends and family know that we are all alive and well! But it is hunting season and that will always come first in the Grover Household. It's archery season and Casey has a spike/cow elk tag. I did not get one this year because we have way too many tags between casey, me, and his two brothers we do not have enough room for all that meat even with his parents freezers. I still want to be there for all the fun though! I have so much to catch up on but no picutres to go with it. I will just name a couple and after the hunts ends (which is on september 7th) I'll have time to post the pics and the full story! First of all McKoy won the salem days baby contest. I guess I can't say WON because there wasn't a real first place, but he won the BALD and beautiful award. He got a medal, and embroidered blanket, and cute little book. I'll have to figure out how to scan the pic they took so I can post it. There are no words to describe how cute this picture is! It show his big cheesy personality so well(Chiara, you must have taught him how to be such a cheeseball cause it ain't from me) Anyway and Caselyns first dentist appointment was today. If any of you have ever met my daughter I'm sure you have a very clear image in your minds at what must have gone on. Getting her to brush her teeth at home is like world war three, so to have some stranger trying to do it, I thought would be much worse, but she let them polish and floss all her teeth before she pushed their hands away. I did not take her to the dentist I work for because she for sure needs someone who specializes in Brat and attitude dentistry. The little turd does have 2 cavaties(I'm a little embarassed about that, ya know being a dental assistant and all.) And the dentist suggested we sedate her, that's a little scary but we'll see how it goes. We also took her to meet her pre-school teachers today. It was very emotional for me, but i held it in cause she was so excited and I did not want to scare her. I literally had to drag her out of there. She actually talked to Miss Karen and Miss Amy, and asked them to help her with things. She is so grown up, and I really don't like it very much! Anyway I will be getting back to you, hopefully with a post of the elk we shoot. If not there is always muzzleloader season!! Wish Us Luck!!

There was one shaved italian ice stand that would give out baby snow cones as samples and boy did my princess love those. I think she ate around 50 of them! And what was even better is that her favorite flavor was lemon, so the snow cone was white. And white snow cones equal no stains!

On Thursday July 24th we went to the parade, we missed about half of it cause I could not get my butt out of bed that early. I think we should all have a vote and the parade should start at ten, not NINE! but we made it there eventually and Caselyn had no idea she did not see the whole thing. The Disney princesses were in the parade and Snow White came over and talked to Caselyn, she was in complete awe, it was so cute. After the parade we walked over to the park and Casleyn rode a PONY! She didn't even scream :) She rode that pony in a circle all by herself it was amazing....... But a terrible thing happened and my battery on my camera died!! So Casey's aunt is going to email me the pics she got (I'll post them later). Later we had the annual 24th of July BBQ at my aunt Teresa's (PS MOM- :( Cheryl didn't make her taco salad) We went swimming too, Koy loves the water he purposely was dunking himself and he would lift his face out of the water and laugh and do it again. Caselyn sat on the steps and palyed with a rubber ducky, there were so many kids splashing and caselyn hates getting her face wet. But my camera was still dead soooo....... No pictures of that either. We took the kids down to the carnival, We bought a few tickets for Caselyn but i can not believe how much it costs for those stupid things, but anyhting to make the kids smile is worth it! So Caselyn rode on the train and the merry-go-round and then we played a couple of games and Daddy won her a poster with all the disney princesses on it(she really loves those girls), and I won her a stuffed bull dog.

Tinney Flats Camp Out

Every year Casey's family does a family reunion camp out up santaquin canyon at the Tinney Flats camp ground. Casey's moms entire family camps up there and we have a parade and a talent show. Caselyn did not do the talent show (even though she is becoming quite the ballerina) She was in the parade though she just put a pink Lei on and walked around circles and waved like Miss America. We did not get to spend the night cause we have to be grown ups and go to work :( We did however get a night away from the kids which was pretty nice.

There is really no reason to post these pics other than to show you all how adorable my kids are! We had these taken when McKoy was 7 weeks old. Even though he looks a lot older. Caselyn doesn't love to have her pic taken but she did pretty good. She loved to play with the flowers and the butterflies. I guess she has to have a prop to keep her entertained if we want any smiles out of her. Koy on the other hand is all smiles all the time so there is no fighting with him.

Caselyn celebrated her Third birthday on June 13th. Her uncle Brock's birthday is on the

same day so we had a huge BBQ on friday for Brock and then an after party the next day at the salem pond. My mom surprised us and actually came down from Twin falls, ID to see us all. The last time we had seen her was the end of march so i was really excited that she made it. Caselyn got ridiculously spoiled, Brock got her a huge Barbie coloring book. Apparently He is trying to pass his artistic talents to her, it's worked, cause she has been coloring in it almost every night since she got it. She also got a really cute dollhouse that she loves to play with . Her favorite thing to do is put the mommy in the kitchen and cook "soup" for everyone. Aunt Ashley got her a chest with a bunch of dress up clothes in it and Caselyn went crazy she loves to wear pretty shoes and dresses, She is such a girly girl. She got some clothes and other little toys but nothing compares to the purple pontiac solstice battery operated car that her Grandpa Danny got her. It has pictures of the disney princesses on the doors and plays real radio stations. She likes to sit in it, but is a little scared to drive it. We took it over to Marlys and Duanes(Caseys aunt and uncle) So that she could play with her little cousins. She just let them drive her around in it and loved every mintue of.

During the first week of June we went with Casey's entire family to California. There were about 37 people in our group and it was so much fun! All of his aunts and uncles and most of his cousins were there. The first night we all went to the beach and had a bonfire and roasted hot dogs, it was pretty cold. Caselyn had blast building sand castles with her cousins that she doesn't get to play with very often. Then we went into disneyland and she loved it. I was so surprised at how excited she got. Her favorite ride was the teacups. She wanted to ride everything. She was so upset when she could not go on the screamin over california roller coaster. She was crying and said "I am big enough, I already measured" I don't know were she got that from cause I hate roller coasters! The whole week Casey's brothers(Cory mostly) were trying to get me to go on Screamin, and finally the last night we had in the park Casey and all his brotheres dragged me on it. i was terrified and had my eyes squeezed shut the whole time, so I didn't see anything, but i think I liked it. That was a huge acomplishment for me. It was a little difficult with McKoy cause there was only a couple rides we could take him on. He really liked pirates of the caribean though, his eyes were opened so big like he was trying to look at everyhting all at once. We had to take turn going on rides because someone always needed to stay off to watch Koy. He attracted so many people it was hard to get anywhere because they would stop and talk to him and gush over his smile and his dimples. We also went to Knottsberry Farm, which was fun but very crowded. There was a school district field trip and the park was filled with Jr. high students. And it was way dirty compared to Disneyland. On thursday night we went to a Dodgers vs. Cubs game. It was awesome even though the dodgers lost. We got some really cute pics of the kids with the field behind them. It was so great to be able to spend a whole relaxing week with family, but it was ended to early and we all had to come back to our jobs and reality. Caselyn will still ask me if we can go back to california so that she can swim in the pool and be a mermaid.
